Issue:
When opening a product using network licensing you get a network license error code -96,491Causes:
The licensing component is not taking enough time to verify an available license. It can also indicate that the port being used by adskflex is being blocked, possibly by a firewall.Solution:
Check on the server which port is being used by the daemon and that it is open on the server's firewall. By default, the adskflex port number is 2080. Although not recommended, you can change the port manually on the license file. In the license file change: VENDOR adskflex port=2080
To:
VENDOR adskflex port=XXXX
Substitute XXXX with the port number you wish to use.

Flexnet Licensing Error
NOTE: you may also need to add the PORT number of your Autodesk License Service master daemon, lmgrd, at the end of the SERVER line of your client's LICPATH.lic file. For example if lmgrd is running on port 27000 (this is the default TCP port number used by lmgrd.exe), the content of LICPATH.lic would look as follows:
SERVER your_license_server_name_will_be_here 000000000000 27000

- In the System Properties dialog box, click the 'Advanced' tab.
- On the Advanced tab, click 'Environment Variables…'.
- In the Environment Variables dialog box, under System Variables, click New.
- In the New System Variable dialog box, enter FLEXLM_TIMEOUT for the variable name and 10000000 for the variable value.
- Click OK to close each dialog box.
- Launch the Autodesk application.
